James Bentley​

James Bentley joined Wealth Stewards in 2018 as an Associate Financial Planner. Working alongside the wealth counsellors, he helped to develop in depth, comprehensive financial plans for their clients. Beginning in early 2019, James began to transition to an Investment Analyst role. He currently works closely with the firm’s portfolio managers in researching prospective investments and executing trades for clients. Prior to joining Wealth Stewards, James was enrolled at the University of Waterloo and earned an Honours degree in Mathematics / Business Administration. While attending university, he interned for a variety of public, private, and governmental enterprises gaining experiences in many different aspects of the finance industry. Since graduating, James has enrolled in several investment industry courses to further his education and is currently a CFA Level II candidate. In his spare time, James enjoys spending time outdoors, playing with his dog, exercising, and traveling.
